Convention Rates are:  below $100 per night.  NOTE:  Discounted room rates are only good until December 21st.  After that time they will be raised to the standard rates, which are more.

This year TYF is offering a new program that will be a contest for Young People, Seniors in High School or 1st and 2nd year College Students.  It is called the "YALE - Agriculture Speech Contest".   At the National Young Farmer Conference in December every year this is a contest that each state sends participants to.  It is a Speech Contest similar to ones FFA members compete in.  Each chapter is allowed to send 2 delegates to compete at the TYF State Convention.  The participation should register as a "Friday after the Ag Olympics and Saturday Only for $75" to cover the meals on Saturday and Hotel details should be taken care of by the local chapter.   The 1st place winner will represent Texas at the NYFEA in December 2017 in Georgia.  See ALL the details by clicking here.

2017 - 
Your dollar goes a long way again this year, Registration Fee will include:  Friday, Saturday and Sunday Breakfast; Friday Lunch and Dinner (before the Ag Olympics); Saturday Sponsor Appreciation Lunch & Scholarship Auction and Saturday Night Banquet.  Thursday Night Mixer; Friday Tours; Ag Olympics and Game Night; Delegate Session; General Session; Saturday Workshops and Contests; Saturday Entertainment after the Banquet (Barn Dance).  A full schedule can be found on the 2017 Schedule of Events.

                Saturday Lunch - Herb Chicken
                Saturday Banquet - Top Sirloin with Roasted Potatoes  and Green Beans

There are exciting Tours planned for Friday.  We will travel as a group on buses.  In the morning we will be visiting:  Kitchen Pride Mushroom Farm and Spoetzl Brewery (Shiner Beer).  The morning tours will be followed by a BBQ Lunch.  Afternoon tours will be:  Fehner and Sons Feed Mill and Gun Shop, Memorial Museum (Home of "Come and Take It" Cannon) and Pioneer Village.  We will return to the Hotel around 5:00pm, in time to enjoy our Supper at 6:00pm followed by Ag Olympics and Game Night.

Saturday Schedule is full and will keep you busy:  After Breakfast will be a Delegate Session followed by the General Session where we will take care of the Business of Texas Young Farmers.  After the Business sessions will be the Sponsor Appreciation Luncheon followed by our annual Scholarship Auction.  There are many exciting workshops planned for Saturday afternoon.  In the evening will be our Awards Banquet that will be followed by a Barn Dance and there will be areas for you to enjoy games as well.

      $125 for Thursday Night Mixer through Sunday Morning (Increases to $150 after 12-1)
        $75 for Friday Night Ag Olympics through Sunday Morning (Increases to $100 after 12-1)
            + $14 for Friday Night Meal (Optional and not included in Fri- Sat Only Price)
$10 (Optional) to attend the Painting with a Twist Workshop on Saturday, participant will keep project. 
        $50 for Child Registration (Does not increase after 12-1)

PLEASE Read Options before making a choice.  I have provided for Couples with only 1 participating in Painting. (2 People + 1 Painting on both the Full Registration and the Friday - Saturday Only Option).
